BTE Technologies Inc
Representatives:
Ken Johnson and Wes Ehret

BTE Technologies is a leading global provider of advanced solutions for physical performance testing and rehabilitation. They have been in business for more than 25 years. With a strong commitment to clinicians and the profession of physical therapy, BTE supports their systems with experienced clinicians and clinical and laboratory research. Additionally, BTE is a Partner in Research with the APTA's Foundation for Physical Therapy.

The Multi-Cervical Unit (MCU) from BTE Technologies has a computerized interface that records real-time cervical spine motion and isometric strength in all three planes simultaneously. This eliminates the subjectivity of manual muscle testing and optimizes treatment planning. Real-time data analysis of psychophysical performance measures are displayed on screen and in comprehensive reporting features for the health care provider, patient, and payer.

Although the MCU is most commonly linked to the treatment of chronic neck pain associated with Whiplash and Associated Disorders following a motor vehicle accident, the growing body of research appears to have captured a niche in aviation medicine market. Currently the MCU is in use with the US Navy, Australian Air Force, Israeli Air Force, and the British Royal Air Force.
